The guide arm mount fits the upper shaft o/d, and mounted at the very bottom gives me 700mm down from the handle so I have better side control.
I can only extend the lower shaft to the length of the coil cable but it still gives me 1400mm from handle to tip of coil.
Now I have maximum reach and coverage with minimum weight.

Wow. You should start a new show, Pimp My Detector! That is the most fly detector I've ever seen by a long shot.
