As others have said , this is one of the few places where you guys are posting Gold finds .

Its bloody awesome

I havent found a piece for a few years , but to put that into perspective , Ive probably only been out about 5 times for about 12 - 15 hours .

Seeing the posts keeps the enthusiasm up for sure .

Hi folks,
Carol and I went out for a few hours last night on the full moon for a bit of detecting.

Carol thought that she wouldn't see me even with the high vis shirt so I strapped one of the garden solar lights to my head and she was happy then.

A little surprise as this area has been flogged in the past. :Y: :goldnugget:

Carol found a couple of small nuggets that weighed in at 0.22 gm for the pair. They got thrown into the pile before I could get a photo of them. 1.8 gms for a couple of hours fun was well worth it.

We think that we'll give night detecting another go sometime.
