Have got reduced hrs at work so snuck out for a couple of hrs picked up 4bits sdc 14x9 Coiltek extreme 3bits 4to 6 inches other on top one scrape with pick happy with that cheers Muk.

So, again, not the biggest nuggets to share but did find a match box today with a dried out cork sort of in place.

Carefully placed it in a container in case some unlucky pioneer dropped his goods. Panned it out this evening and gold is gold despite the size :goldnugget: :goldnugget:

This beauty certainly put a smile on my dial....my first descent piece in good old SA.

Out again to a local flogged spot walked around for a few hrs 5 signals in total a ally tag very deep a bit of rusty tin and also 3 nice little bits sdc2300 14x9 Coiltek elite Im liking the reduced hrs at work but it knocks pay day around hope it doesnt last to long but I will keep making the most of the time cheers Muk.

Well Im not setting any records but heres two more from just before dark tonight. Came in at 0.03 combined, although tiny, the spot just keeps giving. Mate banged a 7 grammer further up, we've nicknamed it Hope Hill.

Back to Hope Hill today, wasnt sure if I would get in with the rain overnight but my mate "T" who has been working it with me grabbed his Fourby with a winch and got me to follow him in. Bit slippery, but got in and out without incident.

Now we have a few targets out we decided to try and concentrate on the "gold line", T at the top with a Zed, and me at the bottom with an SDC working toward each other.

10 for the day, 4 for me, and 6 for T.
Plenty of raking and removing rocks but with big smiles. Ground under the top inch was still dry and hard digging. Ready for a nap.
