spent most of the weekend out swinging. finally found my first piece in new ground also my first speci
found with GPX5000 11" mono about 3" deep.
I've got some serious raking and gridding to do now

Thanks guys, yes very stoked to say the least. Sorry didn't have anything to measure the hole. There was a red clay layer, then a layer of schist, then a pale fine gravel wash that the target was in. I'd estimate about 12 inches. Here's the hole it came from.
