Bit of a let down after seeing the great finds of late but I guess it's still the right color. Got out for a day and half and one spot actually got more gold than lead(that's a first for me :)

Still happy pulling little pieces. Gotta try and find a better mattres for the swag though, had to come home early as I could hardly walk after one night.

Good job dignit and Bjay.
I went out early this morning and found this strange lookin bit about 12,13 inches down.
I was heading back after a few hrs detecting only finding nails and shotty pellets and about 10 metres from the car i got a faint signal and found this reefy looking piece.

Amazing find SC75,
Go back asap and go low and slow, don't tell anyone your spot and find the source mate.

stoyve im pretty sure im right on top of the reef because 40 -60 metres west or east there is not much quartz or iron stone but north and south it keeps going. Im only a amauter at this hobby but where i found it there is a creek north about 50 - 60 metres away. I've done a lot of home work on the area they found gold in the 1800s but its all overgrown and very hard to detect. Im pretty close where they did find some decent size nuggets, not massive but a good size.I will keep trying mate.
