Yeah I didn't know what they were but they were translucent so I kept them. I havnt found them before but had a knee/back braking time finding them but it was fun. I was very very luck to get 3 days off work to do it so just that was a win

Found this bloke stashed in a drawer - dad gave it to the young bloke on his first trip to the CQ field (slipped it in his sieve) to keep him interested. It's been sitting in a drawer for the six years since then because it looked a bit foggy and silky.

This arvo, I polished a window on a large flat face it had - it's just a tad better than I thought, the rubbishy bit was on the surface

Went up oberon today with dunny. Had a good day climbing in holes got a couple of sapphires. It was nice to meet some members up there hope you guys did well!

About 5cm wide.

My uncle dug heaps of it up at Broken Hill, some of his Rhodonite on Galena is absolutely stunning and huge stuff also....

His Broken Hill mineral collection is huge, he's been collecting Brokin Hill stuff for about 30-40 years
