Looks like you should crevice those puddles crumpy !

I think i might need to buy some gear for crevicing this winter silver i seen some pretty good designs and ideas on here from what i read crevicing is a whole different kettle of fish with its own unique skills and methods.

Very chunky, it has not moved far. Excellant score, nice big bit too. Crevis pump will get all the fines at the bottom the shovel misses. Pump into a bucket or over a sluice if there is enough water flow.

Yeah limpalot I was using the pump but I am not finished with this hole and the area, will be back into it during the week to see if there is a pay-streak.

Got out to gympie the other weekend ran three buckets through the sluice. Happy with the size of the gold up here

Stopped a got some slippery jacks.

Found a few good pools thanks to some recent rain.

Cleared the top then panned off the first shovel load.
The next couple shovels had better results phone went flat after this shot though.
Bring on the rain

can be in there now digging and stockpiling while it is easy to get to the bottom of the creek,, run it later when you have water..

I wish I was able to still be there now!
I kept going for another for a little longer and brought the concentrate home for the kids to pan off. They love the color in the bottom of the pan

Clean up from Saturday at Deep Creek Gympie... did better than I thought when I cleaned up the cons after getting home.

Top day for me as a newbie.

I was using another members Angus McKirk backpacker sluice... great little unit...easy as hell to use ..great at getting the black sand and gold and works great where water flow is not great. Good unit too to clean up...nothing to pull apart and clean out.

I will have to root around and find a five cent piece (I only carry plastic, a few bits of folding and now gold dust ) to place in the pan for the next pic

Yep...just had a load of black sand in the sluice...brought it home and cleaned it out and bingo. I think we need to go back there and get the rest of it. :/

Finally got out for another dig in my spot, the hole is getting bigger and clay layer is showing up some nice surprises.
