Ok I am a queenslander, so have only been able to explore the area on google earth, do I need permissions to detect the area, looks like a problem getting into the valleys, looks like most of it is under lease, place looks real good yet other than the mining very little other info.

Queenslander here, have my fossicking permit for state forests, went to explore Torrington fossicking area, and saw the hunting signs, thought it was a strange combination, needs to be signs telling you to wear a safety vest in these areas, only common sense really. Love your fossicking areas...
