I was out bush for a few weeks near Laverton and I had dingoes calling me to get out of bed, camels visiting my camp at night, thousands of birds and brumbies and roos trying to run into my ute.
I have a pair of these in Slip ons that are my daily boots. If I forget my detecting boots these are tough enough to handle the bush easily and very comfortable.
I found that having a metal tag on the zip helpful if anything. I use a 7000 and it does not worry it and if unsure if your detector is working just run the coil over your boot. I find that it is hard to find a sturdy detecting boot unless you buy a workboot. All the hiking boots or combat...
