    Boiling advice please

    I have the same problem with my 98 3 litre diesel hilux, i made up mounts to fix my bonnet ajar to get more air flow, made a difference but but still got hot on those high temp days, not as bad with the bonnet shut.     hey Keith, just do one with the foam and paper first and try it out, could rip. I'd put the paper straight onto the plastic disc, sand paper the disc first to give the glue some adhesion. Not an expert, just the way i see it. good luck

    Hit the ceiling with the fluorescent torch of this old diamond mine, white is beads of water, not sure what the red dots are. :gemstone:

    These are jelly bean quartz crystals from Stannifer, once, they were well formed quartz crystals, 6 sided, but after been transported to there present position in streams and rivers eons ago, they have been naturally tumbled to form what is commonly known as jelly bean crystals.

    Seems to be striations on the stone, only seen pics of octahedron diamonds like that. A zoom in shot of your stone.

    maybe magnetite. Run a magnet over it, if it reacts to the magnet it is a Magnetite crystal, if not probably flourite.

    thanks for clarification tm, queensland like some other states kicks the guts out of the little guy. back in 95 they confiscated all of our equipment (QLD) https://www.prospectingaustralia.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=5460&p=4 we won in the end. Seems okay here in nsw for fossickers. :Y:
