Leaving Marble Bar for the Duchess field. Will need to let the acid do it's thing to reveal total finds. Found those helpful forum members settings for the TDI spot on. Wore out the Sadie skid plate in 7 weeks working just 3 hours a day. Pick up my replacement on the way from Dean now. Marble...

Hi All, I promised an update on the TDI with the 8"x 6" Sadie Nugget Finder Coil. Firstly I made up a set of weights from .1g up to 1g so as to check out responsiveness under controlled conditions.(see pic) The recommended Sadie coil is certainly the superior coil over the standard TDI coil and...

White TDI pro Oz series detector

Hi Swingers, I"ve worked your top soils over clay bases, Dunnolly to Talbot. Your not swinging a detector all day over bricks 50cm high. Every swing. If you want cheap GPZ 7000's the locals are selling them for $5K at the local pub, every night. If you paid $10.5 K your a loser. The local...

White TDI pro Oz series detector

Well I can tell you, you had better be built like a brick outhouse if you purchase a 7000. Yes they work but, Might be manageable whilst in the shop for that 60 seconds. Need muscles like Popeye. It is heavy. Our indigenous friend, reckons this is too hard, he is going to town and sell the unit...

White TDI pro Oz series detector

Hi WainLiz, They do group up, those 4 bits Steve pulled yesterday was in 10 minutes and within 3 metres, you can tell where we pull Gold, its where you can put a swag, swept clean, those big banded Iron chunks are too heavy to rake, we move them individually and create mini walls. Gold can...

Hi mbasko, and Good morning to the very helpful fellow swingers. No I cannot get the coil of my mate Steve long enough to try on the TDI. White TDI pro Oz series detector

Hi mbasko, I call it a 12" mono coil the commander , but could well be only 11". Being an ex fisherman may have something to do with it. We are working amongst very heavily magnetized, scattered Magnetite, only place I know hotter is around Tennant Creek. Those settings are a dream on the 5000...

Hi Walnliz, Wal. Thank's for the confirmation of settings and coil Info. No luck this mornings session, 5000 did no better. Worked old scrapes. Needed to give the ankles a break . Certainly find the new advised settings workable, pulled a tiny .22 bullet fragment. Happy to purchase an NF 8x6...

White TDI pro Oz series detector

If the TDI can be optimized to locate 0.5 gram I want to know by who and how soon? And what coil? Its deaf. Another 12 bits to the 5000 and zip for my White. Tough on the ankles this country.

White TDI pro Oz series detector

To everyone, I believe the nugget is 1/3 of one gram, although my scales indicate .o3 and I cannot relocate the decimal point. Hope this clears the size of nugget issue, and 0.1gram is the lowest size detected todate with the 5000 indicated on my scales as 0.01g. Sorry about my Gold Scales readout.

Hi Guys and Girls, That's the smooth country. Happy to post a pic of the rough Banded Ironstone areas. The GPX 5000 has pulled over 14 bits in the past few days, largest .08 gram, mostly from the rough stuff. In 9 days the 5000 is closing in on an ounce. My White TDI- ZERO, swung over many of...

White TDI pro Oz series detector

Hi Zuke_Lynzy, What gain are you able to run your TDI, above 4.... 9'oclock position? The GPX 5000 very easily detects .01 gram, attached pic of an .03 gram pulled a couple of days ago. The TDI cannot detect it. Who is modifying the unit, how much, and what coil? Mine is out of warranty so not...

White TDI pro Oz series detector

I have owned and used a White TDI for 18 months and have walked over more gold than I have found. White agree I cannot detect the gold nuggets being found with the GPX 5000. They state the TDI is designed to detect larger nuggets deeper. A few years back we spoke about ounces found, then that...
