    It was bound to happen.

Well it is all about the context: A: When you have people digging parks in the city and getting into people faces AND then they tell you that have a Fossicking / Prospecting Licence . YEP that Fossicking licence allows you to dig with a pick any where it is Public Park !!!!! I did not know...

    It was bound to happen.

Aholes digging open plugs and leaving a mess and it is a Football ground and they dug up the field and left a mess and plenty of can slaw behind. This is a lease of Council property and the club is responsible for the grounds and any player that could twist an ankle OR worse while on the field...

Not for sale, FREE. Pick up only.

Sounds like a simple problem - but one never knows until one can see and measure things. Am sure it would suit any number of people.

    Men Take Note

PSA is the easy bit... A digit exam is a little old school but does allow for that quick checks as to size. A tad of a worry when you feel it and then notice both of their hands on your shoulders. But as we get older that gland gets larger and that does not always mean the big "C". While over...

    Brisbane area Detector Trainer

A few at the club could run through some settings BUT you need to be out in the field. Try David from the Open Range in Toowoomba as he is a ML dealer and have a few people that train / teach etc. BUT due to all the fires about - Not sure if people may be able to spare the time at the moment.

But all the FB posts with gold nuggets every day. Its on FB it must be true. Sorry; so over FB. There were a few good pages on Detecting / Fishing / Bees and Coin collecting. But these days 100001 people and a hard work to pick the real data/information between all the scammers / people...

Going back over familiar ground with different settings

Most times it is not diferent settings : it is just that the coil is being swung over new ground and or from a different direction. Does not matter how many times people get told Low and Slow; we all tend to rush and move quick and thus lots of targets are missed.

Have you encouraged your kids to earn a dollar, to buy what they want.

Our two did a lot of things and had chores too boot. Some were at NO pay as part of sharing the load - washing dishes etc. etc. But other things such as washing the car etc was a paid job. Once they did start some part time work; they had super accounts. Thus at tax time we tried to top up...

    Minelab SDC2300 information and questions

Kurra All good. Better to have a clean and smooth system rather than a fractured handle. I would still get a spray bottle of water and give it a good clean/wash out. The SDC2300 is waterproof and had mine under water a good few times. The trick is just using a non pressurised hose or a spray...

    Minelab SDC2300 information and questions

Sounds like you have dirt/dust on the two pressure pads that slide along the rod. They flex upwards and into the base of the handle and the module also rotates a bit. The movements are all very slight but works well when clean. I have pulled mine apart after lots of beach work, but that is not...

    Over voltage protection.

What he said... " If there is no protection, then a crowbar circuit should provide sufficient and fast protection. A fair description of the design and operation is provided here https://circuitdigest.com/electronic-ci it-diagram "

Pinpointers Minelab Pro-Find (35) or Garrett Pro Pointer (AT)

FYI 1: If you are dry land hunting and subject to the odd rain shower and or need to wash some dirt / mud off; then it should not be a problem 2: If you wading and using the pinpointer under water; then depending on the exact nature of the split/s you may be OK for a little while. But do not...

Pinpointers Minelab Pro-Find (35) or Garrett Pro Pointer (AT)

Firm and do not tighten up fully - The oring seals on the internal surfaces and puts extra outward pressure on the casing. Other systems the oring seals on the end surfaces and thus you need to tighten firmly. Do not add PTFE tape as that will just add extra to the thread and will add to extra...

Pinpointers Minelab Pro-Find (35) or Garrett Pro Pointer (AT)

Deepseeker - had to repair a couple of the newer Garrett AT Pros and when testing alongside the PF35; my experience was that the PF35 was much better at picking up small gold than the garrett. However like many things, variables and often there are differences between units of the same model.

Smoky FYI 2 replacement units were cracked out of the box at time of hand over. another unit had a very poor speaker and two would false and sound with a bit of a shake and just miss behave. Have sorted the misbehaving as due to bad solder joint. I use a lube and never do up hard - firm at...

Pinpointers Minelab Pro-Find (35) or Garrett Pro Pointer (AT)

I have been through about 5 PF35's and have now due to the theft of a trusty PF25 left with using the PF35 as my only ML pinpointer. Would not trust it at all in water as every one I have used and or had a close look at has split at the endcap. Once they get that sorted it may go in my every...
