I would expect to loose sensitivity of on the fly **** Like any detector... Smaller coil will get small stuff and in some cases quite deep. Bigger coil will miss the small fly **** but get deeper on larger stuff AND will cover more ground. Would expect the 10x5 to be as good as the standard...
