Anyone used any of these detector mods? Fold and go

Looks good, thinking about buying one, just concerned about any wobble in the hinge! Anyone used one? Seems like they could go on any detector! I always liked the fold down capability on the go find series, dont know why more detectors dont fold down for easy transport/storage

I think it just hasn't been a priority from Manufacturers, you need a stiff strong open joint, a reliable strong closed joint, and all light weight too.

Do-able with off the shelf joints no, thing tent pole gear. But could limit adjustments of shafts too.

Certainly a consideration for Detectors.

Just do not use on the beach or in the water.

Unless quality materials and and extremely well maintained; ingress of sand and movement will make it as sloppy as; in no time.
