Whites TDI Pro on YouTube

Hi all,

I've seen some good content of TDI's hitting gold on YouTube in the past with Gary at Two toes, Liz and Wal, Warren, and LukeOzDigger.

Nothing lately on the TDI with Sadie, other than a misleading post showing a chap unable to see a 0.2g a few years back.

I decided to get past my nerves and put a post up. Was able to comfortably see 1.08g, 0.60g, 0.15g and 0.06g...at different heights.

The TDI series may be old tech ( single channel manual GB) but with a Sadie she will still beat the hell out of modern VLFs in upto medium mineralisation

I am thrilled to have one, and I love using it, and I didn't celebrate it too much in the video not to invite naysayers, but for the price point, it's given me a brilliant start...it's awesome

I had a tdi pro oz as my 1st pi machine. I never mastered it, but I really did like that machine. It was light, easy to get batteries, not tethered to the machine, internal speaker, a lot to like about it. I didn't use NF coils, I had some of those folded coils, and to be honest, at that stage of my prospecting adventure, I didn't really have much of an idea. I kind of wish I had of kept it. I also had an MXT VLF machine, sold both to get a second hand 4500.

I had the tdi pro oz as my first pi as well. Found my first bit of gold with it, and yeah never did master it or understand it at the time. Sold it and got the 7000 when they came out.
