My very first bit of gold from Yack and Reedy, it's not much but it's the first bit I found through my own effort (aside from the stuff from Sovereign Hill)

Little bit of color from a day out at coles bridge. Shame the river was up and had to swim across to the good stuff!!

First day camping at Creswick and found my very first gold nugget panning!

Just a question though, do nuggets tend to cluster close together? I'll be going back to that spot and don't want to get my hopes up too much haha

And yes, where you find a good one, there can certainly be more, with the best ones at the bottom. Keep digging!

Didn't find any more nuggets, but found a couple pickers and a shotgun pellet! 0.39g of fine stuff and the nugget is 0.75g.
Not a bad trip, I'll definitely go back sometime!

My biggest nugget found at Misery Creek. A 1.1 gram nugget, and a few chunky bits all from panning.

Nice find mate. I'm in Northern NSW on the border and have been looking for somewhere close to home as I've been travelling to Mudgee for the last 5 years where I found some good course gold. Obviously without saying where you found this can you give me a broad area that you know of and if you want to I can give you some info where I found it around Mudgee.

Shame every pan didn't swirl back like that! After 4hrs of very little found a nice little hole.
