Compatible GPX 6000 headphone bluetooth

Hey any one used any other wireless headphones for the 6000? ive gathered i should be looking for Aptx Low Latency. Any tips at what else i should be looking for? what aptx and aptx hd and what is bluetooth 5.0 ?does the 6000 support them? is B&O or bose still going? im not too savvy on the new technical stuff.

Quest WireFree Pro LL
Avantree Audition Pro

Or you can pair the Quest Low Latency BT receiver, and use any wired headphones you want.

Do you know if it is possible to have the SP01 plugged into the gpx 6000 and then have a transmitter on the SP01 sending to 2 pairs of ML 100 at the same time, if so what transmitter would you recommend

I used the Aldi Bauhn noise cancelling headphones when I had the 6000. Bought them second hand & still have them. Found all sounds crystal clear & unmistakeable.

I haven't tried it, but you just need a dual output transmitter. Something like the Avantree Audikast may work.

PhaseTech, are the Quest wirefrèe Pro LL good at blocking out exterior noises. We are a group of 4 using 6000 working a lease pushing pads. We all scrub the ground and it's often windy so it can be noisy. We all run headphones via cable sp01 for this reason but are often breaking the cable in the back of the detector so are looking for a wireless option. So again are the Quests good at blocking sounds? Thanks.

I would say they are better than most common headphones in that regard, but I wouldn't call them noise cancelling, or muffs like the SteelPhase Pro Series. They have a medium clamping pressure to give a nice balance between noise blocking and comfort.

I use Avantree Aria Me S headphones with my GPX6000.

When i first tried them i thought they were pretty poor in the sound quality department but then i enabled the personalised hearing profile through an app on my phone and tuned about 6 frequencies to what each of my ears could hear and the improvement in sound quality was dramatic and was way better than the standard Minelab headphones. They also come with noise canceling - this is not in the same league as my Bose noise canceling headphones but takes out the wind drone in high wind situations - you still hear the wind a bit but also you can clearly still hear the signal whereas wind can entirely takeover the signal in Minelabs headphones. They are also lighter and more comfortable and at $120 AUD from Amazon not expensive.
