Will do , brought a pan also, might have a dig somewhere ( just got a local tip as to where I will get some kiwi colour)

Seen a video on U-tube years ago of some Aussies that dredged in some river over there and got some nice color,... sorry no details as that old computer is dead(and the saved info long gone),...... but google might have something. :)
Here are two to watch,... I can't see them myself from here though, so not sure if they are good or not(ha).

Cheers Silver, borrowed some and got some goodies before a big crash this avo which resulted in a trip to Christchurch hospital, given big cup of Kiwi concrete and sent home bruised but not broken. Love this place NZers are awesome. Have already put some nasty comments on their Facebook page, really disgraceful business modis operandi by 'our' national carrier. Sorry no photos but can tell you sphincter plucking factor is high.

hope all is well in that plucking area Myazma,.... go for Gold mate. :D

Oops no plucking just puckering of the Russell Coit, still hurting and its me panning hand, doh, thems the breaks, such is life princess

Good news luggage finally caught up to us, bad news called back to hospital, bone in hand was broken, no panning for a month, now sporting nice purple cast. Wil keep snowboarding though went up again today with no cast so all is good now with added protection

Back home yesterday and picked up the mail, had forgotten about the special present awaiting. Took it and the NZ gold I brought back to show my fossicking mate. Opened it up to find the big one and the little one had had sex some time over the previous 2 weeks because there was another nuglet in the tube. Little tyke is a fast grower too, mum, dad and junior weighed in at .77g. Now thinking I should have stayed away another couple of weeks. Cheers Ramjet and Meta
Ps after breaking my hand first day on the hill prospecting for the trip was limited to a few pans on the Crooked river, about 10 seconds of panning a salted pan at Shantytown for $7, which I promptedly gave back, getting heaps of local 'knowledge', buying a large flake from the Gold shop in Hokitika, shovelling skills therapy - the rope tow at Temple Basin was hitting low tide and pursuing topo maps in areas of interest - they show old workings

Hehe....most thought it was weight alone that counted.

Not many realized it was my prized pair of breeders!

Forget superannuation, you should be well off come retirement time mate. ;)
