Why I love Esperance at this time of year

this is a regular occurrence at this time of year in Esperance. They have been hanging around for 3 days now. Only a few hundred meters of the shore

No whales when I came through there in 2015.... beautiful all the same :rainbow:

Kangaroos were hopping around on the beach here.

I have been to WA. twice now...and never got any further than Cape Leeuwin!...It sure as heck looks amazing from the pics

Is that because the water is like ice all year round or the sharks ? I have only seen two white pointers in 14 years but both times I have been out the water.

They talk about the GreatOcean Road as a beautiful drive but the scenic drive around Esperance and the coastline leaves it for dead.

Especially when the whales ate at the start of the scenic drive.
