Just looked at the temp in Viewbank victoria. 8 degrees at 0900. Brrrrrrr
In Brisbane it is 23 degrees in the city and we are still in our summer PJ's.
Where would you rather be-other than Bora Bora been there fantastic place.

I Definitely prefer cooler temps...I have lived in Darwin, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra and spent the hottest part of the summer in the Middle East....my brain is fried permanently :lol:

Being cold but sitting in front of a redgum fired fireplace is the best

I grew up in Noble Park 1950--one day???? and we always had an open fire until the Country Roads Board bought the house for a future freeway (now going thru to Frankston). Then my father had an oil heater installed in the new house. Worst thing he ever did-crap heating.

If you know where Hawaii is the Bora Bora is one of the Tahitian islands part of French Polynesia--much nicer and more expensive than Hawaii though, that's the worst bit. Went there for my 2nd honeymoon.
