Come on Steve....whats going on mate?

Your absence is louder than a Metallica concert.

Dont mess with Meta :p

Others who must supply reasonable evidence for non participation:

Heatho has been quiet....I know he has medical reasons and that may be taken into consideration.

dwt has been a no show of late but I know he is probably just on the piss.

The boys from Dunolly way have been absent.....yes you Loamer and Redfin.

MJB, .......living in SA is no excuse!

LC7, Jamie, Goldtarget, goldtruck59, walshie1000, Wally69, GaryO, Big Nugget, Ned kellys not dead, the duck, Twapster....more effort needed please!

mfdes....I know your cut off from the mainland but get in here mate.

Kiwi Karen and that other hot looking chick??? ummm!

We need the team back together guys, please have your explanations on my desk by the morning or else face the next seismic activity to lift you from bedrock and see you off the prospecting team ok :p

And floods, drought, financial ruin or anything related to general Climate change is no excuse

;)

Edit: Oh and that QLD yobo....ooops, i mean yobskin and the other northerners!

ha ha...good one Meta but I must admit I was starting to wonder about you too mate. :D

I'm here and busily preparing for the Ballarat Meet-up. Hope to see you and all the otheres you mentioned there to put some faces to names.

Will try and make more of an appearance from now on so I don't have your creepy avatar haunting me in my sleep :p

Some of us fn queenslanders aee still here.
But unlike our southern brothers its not cold. And we this is our season for prospecting.
Jan. Feb. Mar. And most of Apr. Is our wet season.
And I mean wet.
We can get more rain in 2 weeks than vic get for the hole year.
Our wettest day this year was 297mm in 24 hrs.

At least your wet is warm mate..get out there, that's shower temp! Were down here at the south pole..brrr..its not that we have fat fingers when we type..its because were freezing cold shaking! Hahaha

Nahh just pull in the hairs on your chin mate, I know how heavy the rain gets there!

Ok Meta,
It seems that you've become a glutton for punishment mate.
Yes I know that life has a habit of getting in the way of what seems important to a fella sometimes, so yes your honor, guilty as charged.
I've been a bit like yobskin lately, haven't even had a chance for a hotdog or two. :(
But that's no excuse I guess, and I realise that you only missed me and the boys on your list because you can't shoot straight
As for dwt, he needs to once again square off with that rare and endangered species called Panda so that others members can witness the eloquence and amazing skills of those dueling banjos.
(Its a joy to behold)
And then dwt should submit his latest installment of "A play in the fields" to lift up the spirit's of us very wet and cold cellar dwellers in Ballarat.
Now it's very very late and I need my ugly sleep so I'll get on with that and hopefully get to read the next battle of the minds between dwt and Panda  :D ;)
Thanks for waking me out of my coma Meta.
Cheers Steve :D

Oh well fair enough....was just meant to be a bit of fun!
Glad to see your doing well mate.

The Gold board is currently examining if 'having a life' can be seen as a legitamate excuse with a clause expected to be added into section 82b, paragraph 4........."as long as your enjoying what you do".

Cheers ;)

Hi there Meta ,
Fun is good :D
I needed a shake up and a wake up.
I've been flat out actually on so many levels that the month of July seems like a distant dream .
I've had very limited time so I've only logged on for a few minutes at a time for quick read.
I'm hopping in the next week for things to slow down so that I can be a bit more of a driver and not just a passenger.
Thanks for the wake up fella.
Cheer Steve :D

Hey Meta, I'm very well mate and been posting regularly in the "members finds" section, been mostly urban prospecting lately since getting my CTX3030. Too cold in Central West NSW for me during winter, once it warms up I'll be out gold detecting again and back on the sapphires, can't wait actually.

Hope you're well too mate.

Ive been through hell lately...aint had much to say about anything and i havent been doing anything either.
I wish i could talk to you all about it but some things are better off left burried.
Im on the mend but its guna take so time for me to get back in the swing of things.
Thanx for the mention lads feels good to be missed.

Hang in there yobs,
I've been where you have with the back and many other things happening all at the same time.
As we say when we're underground , "there's light at the end of the tunnel".
Don't let circumstances mess with your mental health mate.
Just take deep breaths an one step at a time.
Cheers Steve :|

Speaking of sore backs,...3/4 of an hour ago + one rock too big = one sore lower back,.. popped something,...vortarin rub(Mrs Silvers healing hands), two panadol, one daughter doing a back walk for me,... going to put a hot water bottle on it for 15 minutes now, and then take it for a walk after that,... and I'll see how that goes,... otherwise it'll be about 2-6 weeks before this comes good. :(
So I feel for you Yobskin,..I'm feeling for you right now. :|
