Not so much cagey Geo, but as you know gold is not like fish which spawn and replace themselves every year. Once you take a nugget from its resting place it is gone forever, and most who chase it do too much research to just give away the spots where they have had success, especially on a public forum for all to see. I personally will give away locations I am no longer working at, but usually only via private message and to those I know for sure will do the right thing at that location by following the prospectors code of ethics.
Getting involved with conversations within threads will often lead to friendships where many are confident to give away more information as trust becomes gained. Dunolly is certainly a well worth location to detect and it consistently gives up gold for those who put in the effort. Good luck out there and hope the gold is kind to you...Wal.
