Anything produced on a synthesizer with a computer generated voice saying the same line over and over should not be classified as a song...
Jason.
Hey willo,
what do you think happens when every recording artist has finished a song? they hand it over to the sound engineer who then with the help of computers generates correct pitch where needed, adds a little octave her and there, gets the guitars to exactly match voice output, slows down the drums to sync the beats and a heap more to produce a good sound. There're all getting their voice tweaked by computers.
But they are all just artists using the medium that best expresses their creativity. Its not the style you should be berating but whether the sound of what you are listening to gets your foot tapping - if it does - then fine.
cheers
