I used to have a beagle......he was like my shadow, never more than a couple of feet away.
After he passed we now have two Dashies !
Found out yesterday they bark at the detector...and as fast as I could bury them they kept digging up the 20, 10, & 5 cent pieces as well as the bolts, nails etc that I was burying to try out my unit.

Well P_B I don't think you will need the new unit after all.

To make matters worse, the breeder of my pups often drops by.
So yesterday I battled not only my two dogs....but also they're Mum & sister !
4 dogs barking at the detector & digging holes everywhere wily nily.
You could roll an ankle in my backyard faster than I could scream lookout !
