Way to go BackCreek! One of my most favourite bands ever!! Neil Peart the most complex drummer of all time , often talked of with mention of phill Rudd from AC/DC being the best simplistic drummer ever
Moving pictures was the album that started it for me .... Temple of syrinx is one of my favourite songs , kick back with a scoob and turn it up LOUD! Love it

Yep, Been a big HUGE fan since the 80's. Love their earlier stuff. Favorite album Exit...Stage left. What an album. Fav song (being a car person) Red Barchetta.

So there are 3 Aussies that know Rush!
Hemispheres was an album I bought because it had a cool cover, but the song the tree, s is amazing. Best political song Ive ever heard, Musisians band, they were amazing, Peart is a great bass player, Lifeson holds his own on guitar against anyone, and youve already explained Neil Peart!

Have loved Rush for decades.....

As a drummer, Neil Peart was a mentor and the best i have seen, and Im talking Alex Van Halen, Ian Paice, Buddy Rich, Dave Lombardo etc!

This has got to be one of their best;

They were young and at their peak.... ;)

Great Muso's

That's in my top 10 too, I reckon the acoustic version is even better. I've got this on DVD somewhere at home, think it was called "The Road Home". Just brilliant vocals....
