What minerals are in this ?

Pretty rock. What does it look like to you ? Found near isolated quartz reef but not near one that had any gold according to maps. Copper ore ?

Bring it into the edge of a hot gas flame. The presence of copper would be indicated by a blue tinged flame.
Whether an ore or rock might be indicated by the geology maps or mining history of the area where it was found.
