Martye, looking at the wider area on google earth it seems obvious to me that the feature is simply a product of clearing. It was an area of thicker veg that they ploughed around. And in more recent times a landowner has cleared the inner core evidenced by the horizontal lines.
The area to the south on goog earth has still got the circular patches of thicker veg left within the reserve.
Cant tell if the patches are associated with a slight depression or rise or areas of sediment/soil type that support thicker vege.
Keeping looking. The more you move around and search and sample ground well the sooner you will come across some yella.
