Here in central Victoria,it is freezing cold and pouring rain, they promised a scorching heat.

Regards Frank

Same here in Adelaide, blowing a gale, intermittent storms, cooled off significantly compared to the last few days of tropical weather. Keen to get out for a detect, but the weather and odd show of lightning doesn't seem too inviting. At least the farmers will be happy, and the bushfires have been doused.

If this is the long hot dry summer they promised then I hope it continues.
I really dislike the heat and I'm thankful for every cooler day we get at the moment. I don't know what happened to the 50mm+ of rain we were supposed to get yesterday, it hasn't rained here since Friday but at least we got just enough to water the garden before the weekend, more talk of rain right through the week but I'll believe it when I see it.

I think we will not have any scorching weather this summer because the centre of the country well soaked

What happened to Tim Flannery forecat of the rivers and the dams drying up???

Regards Frank

Looks like I'll be running my sluices all summer down here, if I can find a spot in the creeks that are shallow enough to get in that is
