WALKNG for miles in ever diminishing circles, muttering to myself and occasionally digging a 2 x 3 foot hole to retrieve another pull tab.
at least I have all those voices in my head to keep me company.

As the kids would say - LOL.

My current hobby is trying to stop turning into my Dad and Pop. Every now and then I stop dead in my tracks after saying something to my grandkids like:

'When I was young...... (insert nonsense that gets the kids eyes rolling)

'Telling Pop jokes like - "I dreamed I ate the worlds biggest marsh-mellow last night and woke up without a pillow'.

"Tell Nanna I swore and I'll kick your arse" Which is an ironic statement in itself I guess.

"You are wearing THAT??!! I don't think so!!" Especially humorous to your granddaughters.

"Yes - you do have to barrack for Collingwood - I have suffered, your father has suffered, my father suffered and my grandfather suffered, now its your turn."

etc etc
