I am in trouble. I have again lost my wedding ring. This I attribute to my loss of weight (22kg) since Nov last year when I had my heart attack. I had been noticing it getting looser over the past few months. Then last night I was watching the AFL (Go Lions) it suddenly dawned upon me to look at my ring finger. The finger jutted out proudly but alas no ring. I have searched everywhere in the house and car and it seems I will have to backtrack on yesterdays movements, IGA, Jaycar and United Petroleum.
Wish me luck as I venture forth into the Sunday drivers-scary thought.

Watching Mrs Deepseeker play plumber. I put the two measured Tablespoons of Draino in the partially blocked bathroom sink last night, followed the rest of the instructions on the container and it didn't work. Got ridiculed for being OCD and following the label, then Mrs DS went and poured a whole heap in the plug hole this morning. Sink is now completely blocked, so she took to it with the plunger (dumb as thing to do as it's full of highly corrosive stuff now). Left her to it as she knows better :lol:

Last I saw she was pulling off inspection plugs outside and shoving in the garden hose. When she's learned her lesson I'll accept the apology and take over. Mind you, the womans so stubborn she'll probably be there until she fixes it, and tell me to P-off for offering to help. Aint love grand? :inlove:

Thanks Goody. No I didn't actually, and if it was soap build-up that probably would have clinched it. Turns out that Mrs Deepseeker fixed it :8 << Bows in humble awe

I had a close look at the crud that came out and to me it looks like corrosion/ rust. The sink, S-bend and piping that goes out through the wall is PVC, and then it joins to a Tee piece that goes down to a ridiculous right-angled old galvanized elbow, and up to an old steel stink-pipe. I think what's happening is the stink pipe is corroding up above the roof line, and the shale and rust is falling down to the right-angled bend that is down past where the bathroom basin drainpipe comes out through the wall. If all we have to do is flush out the build-up once every blue-moon I could live with that. I'm the only rooster in the house though and I'm almost bald, so with three other females around with long hair I think I'll be clearing the shower drain once in a while too :argh:

I find hot water and bi carb can fix a lot of drainage problems...

Having girls with long hair don't help much ...
