Doing some on line research to find the location of a WWII Japanese camp near my farm in the PI
Supposedly the Japanese had the camp to guard and check point the highway river crossing going from Echague to Jones at Pangal.
Found this WWII Japanese map (left side) And compared it to the latest google map. Road and crossing are in the same place on both maps.

Would love to find the camps location and detect it when I am there in a couple of weeks..
The Highway crossing point is only about 100 meters from the hardware store .
At map coordinates 16.6045280, 121.6747333

Watching all these unmarked Police flying past our place in East Brisbane heading towards Morningside. I called out on Ch40 and was told that they were after a group of thieves that have stolen approx 40 cars this week from car yards. One of the vans was a Tactical Response Group vehicle--and moving fast.
Apparently one of the thieves has shot someone as well.
