Just got home from a few days away to see there was a free show on tonight.

Roast beef in a roll with a can of soft drink and a fabulous show. The guy can play the guitar to sound like an orchestra and the lady can switch from Noongar to English and back mid song. She'd explain the storyline before singing in both languishes. It was a great night.

I'm packing the detectors in the bus for a quick run out to one of our nearby leases. I have a couple up here from down in the wheatbelt. They've been here a couple of days with a GP3000 and a GPX4500 and haven't turned anything up yet. I intend to show them why. If they are going to detect right here near town then they need a very sensitive detector to get lucky. I hope I don't embarrass myself

Right now I'm laying in a hospital bed after having a "Total Right Hip Replacement" at around 3pm this arvo. They'll have me up walking tomorrow and hopefully I'll be going home on Thursday. Nice room I've got, big enough to have a party, if I was 40 years younger I'd have my mates here tomorrow with the esky.16950403459575371125575359579485.jpg1695040392833352764381935563499.jpg

Right now I'm fighting with my computer.

Earlier in the year I replaced my HP Envy laptop with an LG Gram. The HP had a seriously cracked touch screen amongst other things so it was time for an upgrade.

The one thing that really made me change laptops was that the HP would often go crazy selecting programs or onscreen items at random. The only fix was a restart that usually worked for a short while. The item that seemed to trigger this problem seemed to be after I'd logged into Geomap the DMIRS software. When it went crazy there was nothing I could do but turn the computer off by holding the start button down. Anything on the monitor was out of control.

Today the LG started out normally but as soon as I plugged it in to recharge it did the same thing. The curser is out of control however as soon as I remove the charge cable from the "USBC" port the computer returns to normal, something the HP couldn't do.

Any suggestions?

I'm off to a free seniors morning tea at the local cafe. One of the perks of living in a small country town :)
And what a great little town it is, I really enjoyed my week in Que last year and I'm looking forward to getting back there again in Autumn next year. Hopefully I'll have a pack of Kangaroo Island whiting fillets in the van freezer for you Phil.
