Nah. Usually lots of cars parked there or people working but this happened early this morning. The powers that be in there "wisdom" are planting these things all around the city. Not real bright.my mate always calls the fickle gums, hope it’s not to serious.
Wow compared to that we got away very lightly. Poor old walnut tree and fire unit copped it a bit though.View attachment 8165

Where did this happen BigL, Major's Creek Mitchellstown late January 2020. Here's a few more pictures, I know the bloke who owns the ute. It was repaired, hard to believe it didn't warp the chassisView attachment 8165

Yeah I remember it well I was driving the GV Hwy nearly every day at the time. There's only two other storm events similar to this in Victoria I can remember.yes was at Majors, no I dont know that poor fella. The GV HWY was unbelievable that day, HUGE limbs everywhere.. took nearly a week for crews to clean the road up. I've never seen anything like it in Vic before, was like a mini tornado went through, a very narrow path of absolute destruction was cut heading NE from Majors. Made me think twice about where I camp now, even pulling up the boat under trees for a bit of shade when fishing.
YepThat's a bloody long verandah RM
yes it was a nice sunset today.. makes a beer taste all the better too!
Hah, not as good as me - I got more than $4!Sitting back feeling really lucky.
Had an email from CBA today to say that they were giving me a refund and to check my Netbank messages for details.
Logged into Netbank and opened up the message and found that I was to receive a 3 cent refund in my CBA account due to interest miscalculations.
Wow how lucky can you be!
