Help Support Prospecting Australia:
We trolled for hrs with various lures, tried scrubbys but only got 2 big carp. We must be doing something wrong
Looking at a couple of coils to add to the collection
wondering what “ You have insufficient privileges to reply here” actually means? Mackka
First thing to check is to see if a mod shut down the thread for some reason. Nope. Then checked my TB message in box to see if I did something naughty.
With the old software you were restricted from posting in some areas and messaging until you had ten posts. This was a measure to keep the SPAM out. This new software has much better facilities for catching the Spammers. “ You have insufficient privileges to reply here” means the Admin has blocked all members from posting. There were a few that we also couldn't post in. On example was the Competitions section which I asked Admin to unlock so we could run the COM and FOM. Any particular section you are referring to?
Yes RJ, it was Phasetech this morning with Mbasko. I didn't have a comment to make but the wording came up under the item.

Was it in the Sponsor Directory? Here: https://www.prospectingaustralia.com/threads/phase-technical-products.8327/#post-644728
If so that section is most likely locked to posting/replies unless you are a site sponsor or mod.
It's nothing sinister & even the mod squad get it in some sections. Example in Sponsor Trades we can add replies but can't start a thread.

When you click on "What's New" it brings up the latest posts etc. regardless of forum section.
It would have been the post I put up on the Phase Technical Products thread which is in the Sponsor Directory & that section appears to be locked to posting or adding threads unless you have Site Sponsor or moderating team privileges.
Just designed to keep general banter, unwanted comments, spam & so forth out of that section &/or other similar sections.
The only other time you'll see it come up in the majority of forum sections is if you've been temporarily or permanently banned from posting on a specific topic. This function is to prevent members continually making negative posts &/or off topic posts on someone else's thread. If that's the case it would have been accompanied by a warning message via Conversations (PM).
