Sandta thats not right mate. A GOOD assistant can put all your numbers etc on easily within 30 seconds I have had it done. I think you got stiffed.

Why does changing a plan necessitate a new SIM? I worked for Telstra for 35 yrs and when I was retrenched I moved straight to Optus --now on a cheap plan thru Kogan.
Did you change phones?

You need a new sim card if you change providers.

Same provider ,telstra (no optus or vodaphone out here) ,new phone and it takes a small sim card
I changed plans to one with data to use as hotspot for my ipad rather than have 2 seperate
Same monthly cost but with way more data
Should be able to watch whatever i want without having to monitor usage
Now just gotta figure out how to use the phone and set it all up oop:

When I upgraded my mobile phone I was able to clone the info from one to the other because they were both Huawei models. Took about 15 mins. and all the data was copied from one tel to the other.

I see Huawei have been / in the process of being banned in the UK for security reasons.
