Warri Reserve on Shoalhaven

Just wondering if anyone has been to this spot not far from Braidwood?

Thinking of taking a trip out there this weekend.

The spot is up river from Oallen.

Never been there but you'll find gold. From driving over the bridge heading toward Braidwood I'd go on the left otherside from the campers.

If you went to Oallen there'd definitely be quite a few people sluicing over the weekend if you wanted to have a look.

never been to there only do oallen on a day run and always come home happy
stuarts crossing is ok as well but up stream in the rocks
mongarlowe is ok however it is hard to get to
araluen always seems to produce as well if you get the right spot (took me a while to find it)
if you have a detector it might be worthwhile doing the camp ground at the bottom of the mountain )next to the river that you can pan when you finish) i havent heard of anyone doing that area with a detector

I may have a look at Warri on Sunday for a day trip.

Yep. Dry Creek in Araluen is on my list too. I need to apply for my permit first.

I am an avid 4wder to get into some pretty remote spots.

Wound up doing about 8 pans down at Warri Reserve on the Shoalhaven.

Got a little. Reckon I lost a lot as it is so small and fine.

Think I need a sleuce or something! Lol

for 8 pans that looks good might be worthwhile running a highbanker for the day and see what comes out

Cheers. Most of that came from around one piece of bedrock. Tested other spors and not much around them. So went back to that piece of bedrock.

May have to buy one next pay day.
