More sliver from the same spot. and a pistol pencil sharpener.
Thought it must have been a photo frame in the style of a pocket watch as the top was rectangular but now I have cleaned it up it was a Stirling silver pocket watch that has been flattened without the mechanism inside it. Possibly from an old car parking area.
Think I found the mechanism last outing about 30m away but it was well and truely toasted.

Looks like the royal lion made an earlier appearance. Just cleaned up the disc with a gothic shilling style pattern on it and it is a pre 1900s NSW Military Forces button, also squashed. Bloody cool find, even if I do say so myself.
