More sliver from the same spot. :D and a pistol pencil sharpener.

Thought it must have been a photo frame in the style of a pocket watch as the top was rectangular but now I have cleaned it up it was a Stirling silver pocket watch that has been flattened without the mechanism inside it. Possibly from an old car parking area.

Think I found the mechanism last outing about 30m away but it was well and truely toasted.

Wow,.. I didn't even pick the shilling first up,... great going Wally,.. Wallowing in silver you are. ;)
And sniffing them out first up too. :D
 
The shilling from the previous hunt cleaned up well

Looks like the royal lion made an earlier appearance. Just cleaned up the disc with a gothic shilling style pattern on it and it is a pre 1900s NSW Military Forces button, also squashed. Bloody cool find, even if I do say so myself. :cool: :cool:

Nice Wally loving the silver, is there such thing as silver fever i think i have it ;), now i have 2 ailments silver and gold fever :lol:
