No problem silver. What I meant was this old coin has been down there a while, long enough to be corroding, on the face of it its nothing special, a 1966 non wavy 20c piece. So what? The fact its still there and in a state of heavy corrosion at a reasonable depth means (to me at least) there has every potential for this to be a great spot. I can only assume if a real coin shooter had come through this would not be there. And the question thing want meant to be about here to clarify, Um just a bout sick of answering a series of pointless questions about detecting, mostly because it stops me doing what I want to do dig stuff up! Its the same old questions, what have you got, what does it cost, what can it do, how deep can it go, on and on like that, and then they want to go on a tell you about how their mothers cousins next door neighbors ex flatmate uses a pi and hit a retirement nugget, which basically has zero to do with what I'm doing. I know people are curious but its bloody annoying, you would think wearing headphones and hitting up in the dark would help but no, they persist. In the end though I suppose its pointless posting something like this up, maybe the time might be better spent digging.
