Veronica has joined Trevor bringing destruction and much needed rain.

Severe tropical cyclone Veronica is bearing down on the Karratha/Port Headland area. Likely to make landfall over the weekend. Many have evacuated and the stores are empty with residents stocking up for the difficult times ahead.
The goldfields to the SE are likely to be affected, take care out on the tracks.

forecast map for Veronica predicts it will turn around after making landfall & head West-S/Westerly & back out to sea. But at the same time the map also looks a bit uncertain as to what it will do

Yep at the moment we have very high cloud with bugger all movement
A slight breeze is blowing maybe 2 or 3 knots
This time tomorrow maybe a different story

I am on rdo today still nothing just a slight breeze very high cloud
and no movement at all
I have been keeping an eye on all things cyclone related
If it comes across Whim. Creek we WILL get wet as we are 95k
from the Creek
