Has anyone have any info on Underwater Probes that they can recomend. Can they and where can they be bought from?? 8)

To be used at depths of up to 5 meters

Interesting, does it work though? Does it pulse only from the tip or does it have a halo like effect to read targets adjacent to it? Good idea all the same.

Have a look at the other probes in their range as well, there are some more diver oriented probes including the vibra-quatic2, and the vibra-tector 730. I used to own the vibra-quatic 2, and its larger head gives a bit more coverage, plus the added feature of a blue led indicator that goes off over targets. Very easy to use with its tilt on/off feature, water proof to 30m, and being pulse induction, it is unaffected by salt.

Due to the head design, the 580 would be more be more precise, whereas the Vq2 should gain a bit better depth.

Do they work, of course they do, they are specifically designed for water work, but can be used for land duties as well (580 would be better on land), and are not too expensive which is a good thing. :)

These are pulse induction probes. These are more
Sensitive than vlf's and its what i take with me to the
Goldfields where my vlf is left at home.

You should not have an issue detecting thin chains
Though i have not tested mine its sensitive on tiny
Nuggets.

If i can remember right the 580 is sensitive on the
Tip. Its a great probe. I also use the 580 when detecting
The water just let go of the detector get on your knees
And look for the target if a target plays hard to get.
