Took the kids out for a pan today.
Hit the bedrock where I test panned the other day.
The 3 year old was to interested in catching grasshoppers and bugs.
The 7 year old got about 15 colors
This was my total for 3 hours of panning.
Will let it dry before I weigh it up.
..

So, I weighed up the gold from both pans last night before going to bed,
I was impressed with a few hours of panning. TOTAL 0.83gm
oh I can't wait till the creek has running water. To run a sluice or the high-banker 2.0

Looks like a great find Kane. I recon the thrill of the hunt in these places is often better than the returns from the gold. We are always seeking out these old areas for bottles and even though I have a few swings with the detector I've never pulled out the pan. I think I've got to change my game :)

Then you would love this little spot.
There are quite a few old bottles around.
Will take a few photos for you next time I'm there.

So what ever happened with this spot??
Have you found a bit more? Panning? Detecting? Given up?

We've been waiting since May :D :D

I have not done much in the last few months, work has been crazy.
My little girl came into this world a month ago, so I haven't been able to get out.
Its only a gully, so can only really be worked in the wet months
