Im currently plodding around outback WA. If all goes to plan this year I will be back in Hill End for a couple of months around Xmas time. I would be happy to show you a few spots . Good gold can also be panned around the H. E area if you know where to look.

Im looking at heading to sofala in less than 2 weeks and wondering if the river is flowing after the recent rains?
I want enough flow to run my mini cell sluice.

Haha yes, its in minor flood and its rained all day here with more on the way.

Yeah, they upgraded the flood level warning too.
A mate sent me a crazy vid of a spot that must be under 8' of water that's usually exposed bedrock.

I'll be heading up that way with my river sluice and trusty pan plus detector this spring, hoping to find a little colour. Not a greedy sole, so just a tad will wet my gold bug appetite some.
