There is a show on TV where the late princess Diana's brother looks into the history of the family estate, and from the ad that I saw they were using metal detectors to find stuff.

^ correct. The estate has a long stiff upper lip history and Di's bro granted someone permission to detect the place. They apparently find something significant, so the add claimed. Could be well worth watching
