There is a Mobil depot in Coober Pedy -----go thru the roundabout in the main st past the supermarket & shops .Proceed down the hill until the Drive In theatre Screen appears on your right in a side stree .Turn right past the screen & a couple of blocks & it's on the right.
6 cents a litre cheaper than the service stns near the highway.
Also fresh potable water is available in a couple of places in large volumes --there is a cost but not expensive
