Manpa I used to live in Winkie and there were the Winkie Dink Holiday Cottages there at the time too, mostly for fruit picking back packers.
Just up the road is Cobdogla.

I love the Riverland, great place to spend time just wiling away the always.

Another place with an odd name is Jabuk on the Tailem Bend to Pinaroo Rod. Just outside of Pinaroo (I think) there is a Lovers Lane.

There's a place not far from Echuca called Diggora. There's a Pig farm there called the Diggory Piggery. If they still loaded them on to the Murray River paddle steamers I wonder if it would be done at The Diggery Piggery Dock? :lol:

We ran a hotel in Tassie and was told by locals to visit Doo Town and drive around it and have a laugh .
After selling the Hotel we did .
Brief history Doo Town is a shack community on Pirates Bay .
All residents have name plates on their shacks - houses .
Here's a few .
