hey everyone, my names lachlan. im completely new to prospecting, im a carpenter by trade and i live on the gold coast, qld. The reason i want to get into prospecting is because im wanting to travel around australia this year and i think it would be a great past time doing some treasure hunting.. (for gold..), anyways.. hey!

Welcome to the forum Lachlan, and great to have you on board. You'll add a new level of excitement to your trip around Ozz if you go armed with a metal detector and a sense of adventure.

A quick run through some parks or beaches can nearly always get you a "Hamburger with the lot" for lunch. A bit of luck on the gold field and maybe the next legs fuel tank can be filled, and like Tattslotto, you never know when the big nugget will fall.
