No doubt importance/value of certain finds will vary from person to person, but post up three items that are at the top of your list to find in the not too distant future (hopefully). Am guessing those special find will vary to a degree, depending on what you are targeting, whether you have just started out detecting searching for your first pre-dec/silver, or whether you are a veteran to the hobby.

Three items that would get me rather excited include a sovereign (any type), cartwheel penny and half/full crown. Realistically speaking, it will probably be a long time between drinks to come up with those listed finds, but one can dream of doing so. ;)

A sovereign is an obvious but unlikely wish list item so I'll say... An Aussie rising sun badge, a gold ring or jewellery and a really old silver such as a Vicky shilling etc. I could go on.... :D

Peace and quiet would have to top my list,.... followed by that elusive rusting tin fulll of sovs and half sovs(could have a few crowns in there as well,.. would still be OK),... and next would have to be the entrance to an old locked down ww2 bunker still full of everything that they left in there when they pulled out and hid the entrance(would have to have old crates of grease packed unassembled motor bikes, jeeps and planes). ;)

Just three ? ... I guess that changes from time to time, especially when i get that jealous envy feeling when i see other peoples awesome finds
1)Cartwheel penny - i actually saw one the other night...a bloke showed me some of his coin collection when he heard i like detecting coins
2)Holloways token - i also collect old bottles etc ,and have one of their ointment pots. Our local young gun , Lonely Silver , is one of three on here with recent scores ... So their out there
3)Holey dollar - ive dug plenty of tarp eyelets so far that have just about stopped my heart so cant wait to dig the real thing

Got one of my bucket list items today. A complete toy gun. I. Very good condition. I'm stoked.

A gold coin
A roman coin (everyone needs a UK adventure)

Funny, I did the last two in one hole!

My dream would be a bronze axe from the bronze age, it is an item that eluded me for years, and I missed it again during my trip in Europe this year.
