seen these fellas while I was out there

turns out they're pretty small in the mushy world

anyhow ,.... here's the hunt

Here's the little bugga that's got my attention
could finally go home

anyway, cleaned a few up

one penny turned out to be 1904 (but it's toasty anyway)

but that all important one
turned out to be a 1952 3d

and that's the one that makes me smile a lot :lol:

I'd keep one foot firm on the ground if I could get away with it, but, alas and alack lifes pressing issues must come first and foremost, so one must make do with short hunt forays if that is all time makes avail. I'm still taking from peter when it comes to time, and paul, well paul must wait his turn now, I'll get to him when I can. It's Mrs S that must come first in line before anything else is even possible ,.... so when I say just till I get one ! that must be exactly what I must mean.

Well I snuck out for a hunt this morning after a call to arms.
not much came my way until the very end.
here we are though.
I love those silver edges when they first show in the hole.

A wipe away of dirt and it's as bold as er brass now.

and there she is out at last.

but wait ,.... a signal same depth and in the edge of the hole.
peel back some more sod and
another silver edge

another wipe away of dirt
and Ooooo it's another one

and out

home n a water wash

and there we are
1957 florrie

and
1946 florrie
