There a new Hybrid Silver, based on a dark Darwin red . You can get black and yellow which is pectacular also. I have not seen any yet. But the seeds for the black are for sale overseas , which means no hope of passing quarantine at the moment

Went for a short hobble stroll and looked (not with the detector :) ) and found some old glass

on closer inspection I see my first bit ever of what i thought might have been the bottom of an old torpedo bottle

but ,..... 8) on reflection, I realised it's probably just the high bit from the inside of the bottom of an old green wine bottle (ha).
Got all excited for all of 30 seconds !

Hard to tell on my screen...but it looks like an old firepit with a smashed bottle...(top lh corner looks like some charcoal?)

Might just be the shadows playing tricks???

Glad to hear your not bailed up since your last outing...trust your body when it says.."Let's have a break buddy...."

Look forward to many more tales & pics. ;)

Cheers

Maybe an old house site, but definately a sort of dumping site at some stage, have found a few leadheads and coins in the area over time (not to mention that belt ring), was just looking at the erosion areas just incase there were any coins to be specked, but, none there for eagle eyes to discern. 8) :D
not too far from a creek, maybe 70-80 metres.

out of everything there was just 1 that looked different under the light (these have not been tested for authenticity).
Here are 4 stones that were loose.

and under the light in varying conditions (angles of light or distance of camera)

so, only that bigger stone really showed any permanent difference, if the smaller ones seem to it is only because of the UV lights incidence angle striking and reflecting off a plate on the stone in any particular photo. :D

The larger stone is probably a light pink sapphire, that's the type of flourescence you'd expect to see, the more intense the colour of the ruby/pink sapphire the more it will flouresce.

You'll need a diamond tester for the other 3 stones mate.
