Today I finally finished another couple of dry blowers. They are a good job to get into over winter when its wet and the anticipation just builds up and up for things to start drying up.
These ones are a little different to my first one I made. I've added an extra riffle to trap more gold and made the legs extendable so that it folds down more compact to fit more places.
If anyone has a dual B&Z they will know how much they add to weight and cords everywhere. Now I have a dual set up that doesn't get in the way, speakers facing me and I can still use headphones if I want. Someone should make a consumer version!
Today I made a wood fired Bar-B-Pig
Because the old 44gal just didn't cut it anymore, and mowing the lawns would have been boring
Here it is ready to paint..
Stu, I reckon your piggy BBQ is pretty good too mate, very creative.
There has been a bit of interest in these Dry blowers so now I will be making another batch soon, I will let you know when they are done if your keen on one.
I cant claim this little beauty to be my own, but I have got the (new and free of gas) 9kg bottle ready to either attempt this design or Ramjets or both.
Met an engineer on my travels and saw this bad boy and thought I gotta have me one of those..
Mine bottle is new and gas free and for $32 new its good enough for me.
The camp oven in the pic is a 7qrt, but I'm hoping a can get a 9qrt to fit with a couple of changes.
I'm also gunna make a water heater using curled copper pipe(flat like a plate) to warm water up for showers, by recirculating through a jerry with a digital thermostat to get the temp right. Hopefully it works OK?
A very cool looking project! Gas bottles are great for "repurposing" into new creations, especially when it involves food and fire i look forward to see your one NG!
